Edwin's debut solo effort is truly outstanding, but what else would you expect from Edwin Yearwood. From the feel good Fiah Fiah to the thought provoking The Other Side (of the fence), Influenced showcases the range of Edwin's songwriting skills. West Indian is my favorite track. "If you ah proud West Indian...put ya hand in de air and sing dis one." This song has an incredible rhythm and outstanding vocals. This is one that you're sure to love. Other outstanding tracks include Handy Man, What A Feeling, Every Time, and Advice to Suc-cess - featuring Red Plasitc Bag. This CD is a winner. Get it today. |

The Best of Krosfyah is a compilation of hits from their first three CDs plus two new tracks. With hit after incredible hit, this is a must have CD. If you don't have one of those hard-to-find early Krosfyah CDs, this is a great way to fill in the gaps in your CD collection. If you are a die-hard Krosfyah fan who has all their CDs, you'll still want this one. Imagine having Sweatin', Wet Me, and Road Block all on the same CD!!! In addition, there's Don't Hold Me Back, a new Anthony Bailey composition that'll have you up and dancing |
the very first time you hear it. The CD ends with Work It, a new Edwin Yearwood composition that also appears on his solo CD Influenced - The Good And Badd In Me. Noticeably absent is Highway Robery, probably their best work ever! How this could have been left out of the CD is a mistery. Yet, even without Highway Robery, The Best of Krosfyah is still an amazing CD. If you don't have your copy yet, buy it today. You'll be glad you did. |

From the frenzied sound of Out of Control to the melodic Nuff Said, Krosfyah.com is a winner. The chorus of One More Time will have you singing along and keep playing in your head long after the song is over. I love the horn section and Ray Armstrong's vocals on Raga Beenie. Don't Stop has in infectuous rhythm that you can't listen to just once. Teaser is a hard jammin' track that is amoung Anthony Bailey's best work to date. However, my favorite is the final track Nuff Said. If I had to describe this song in three words, it would be "the perfect song." Nicholas Brancker's arrangement is extraordinary - the man deserves an award. This Edwin Yearwood/Anthony Bailey composition has powerful lyrics, outstanding vocal harmonies and incredible music. Listen to this one with you headphones - you won't want to miss a single note. They've done it again - another first rate CD from the Kings of Soca. |

This is an incredible CD. I can still remember the very first time I played the opening track, Appetite. From beginning to end, this is a fabulous tune. Wow! Appetite is hot and sets the tone for the rest of the CD. They invite us to take a musical cruise and they don't disappoint. This CD introduces us to Krosfyah's new co-lead singer Ray Armstrong, who does lead vocals on Too Sexy and Woody Wood Pecker, two of the best tunes on the CD. In Mi System has an infectious rhythm that will surely get into your system. |
Sherwin King's pulsating drum rhythm helps make this one of Krosfyah's best tunes to date. Another outstanding track is Sarah, a song dedicated to Sarah Ann Gill, one of the pioneers in the civic and religious life of Barbados. And finally there's the closing track, Love Walks Alone, a blues influenced tune about life on the road. Great guitar work on this one. |

Music so good that you'll wish everyday was Christmas. From the upbeat and bouncy My Sweet Lord to the soulful No Christmas Without You, this CD is filled with one gem after another. The CD has a unique design. Instead of the usual circular shape it's in the form a Christmas ornament. Festive, but it won't play in a car CD player. So put it in your home stereo player and play it over and over. This is a great CD. There'll be no Christmas without Fyahside Christmas. |
1. My Sweet Lord 2. No Christmas Without You 3. End of the Rope |
4. Jah Son 5. Feels So Good 6. Celebration |
A superb little CD. Only six tracks, but some of the best music you'll ever hear. The opening track Road Block is a truly exciting song. You'll want to play it again and again. The next track, Highway Robbery is a lyrical masterpiece that shows Edwin Yearwood's awe-inspiring songwriting genius at its best. Haunting Melody has a melody that wraps itself around you, while the lyrical imagery and flawless production of Redemption of Me makes it a truly unforgettable song. If exceptional quality is what you want, then this CD is what you've been looking for. |

4. Redemption of Me 5. De Gal Next Door 6. The Facts of Life |
This CD by Krosfyah, individual members of Krosfyah and a few guest artists is a must-have CD. Love at first note is a good way to describe the opening track Wet Me. The feel good vibe of Wet Me along with the smooth sound of Jamming Practice is soca music at its very best. Also, the penetrating social commentary of Something Greater leaves you with something to think about long after the song is over. As does Youth of My Country, performed by Ian R and Carol-Ann. The gospel inspired Moving On stirs the emotions. Edwin's vocals are exquisite on this one. This is a marvelous CD. |

Ultimate Party - Pump Me Up |
I can't say enough good things about this CD. My favorite track is Sweatin'. If you like soca, you'll love this tune. If you don't like soca, you'll still love this tune. It has an absolutely incredible sound. On a scale from 1 to 5, where 5 is excellent, Sweatin' is a 6! It just doesn't get any better than this. This one track is more than worth the cost of the CD. However, not limited to just one phenomenal track, this CD is loaded with exceptional songs, one of those being Pump Me Up. Pump Me Up has a great rhythm, positive lyrics |

and splendid vocals. It's an all around extraordinary song. Another notable track is Obadele, Krosfyah's tribute to Bajan sprint sensation Obadele Thompson. Recorded before Oba's glory days as an Olympic medalist, Krosfyah used foresight in paying tribute. Most other bands merely use hindsight. This is just one of many reasons why Krosfyah is such an outstanding band. Other gems on the CD include the title track Ultimate Party along with Voice In My Head. This CD belongs in the record collection of all true soca lovers. Get your copy today. You'll be glad you did. |
